I’m Chris Flanagan, founder of The Aesthetics Guy NI. With over 10 years of experience in the beauty and aesthetics industry, I’ve built the clinic around a very different approach to face and body wellness. No overfilled faces, no chasing trends, and no one-size-fits-all treatments. My goal is always to help clients look fresher, healthier, and more confident while still looking like themselves.

Based in Newtownabbey in a private, discreet clinic setting, I offer advanced facial and body treatments for both men and women across Belfast and Northern Ireland. I use trusted, results-driven technologies and undergo continuous professional training to ensure you always receive safe, modern, and effective care.

My own skin journey

Back in my teenage years, I struggled with really stubborn acne, and honestly, it took a toll on my mental health. Kids can be so harsh, and despite trying every over-the-counter product out there, nothing seemed to help. I started dreading school because I felt so self-conscious about my skin. Living in a small town in Donegal didn’t make things any easier either—skincare wasn’t exactly a hot topic back then.

Eventually, I went to a dermatologist who put me on Roaccutane, which did clear up my acne, but wow, it really messed with my skin! It dried it out so much that it felt like it was flaking off, and the side effects were a whole saga in themselves.

Fast forward to my 30s, and my skin decided to act up again. My GP gave me antibiotics, but after a while, I figured out it wasn’t even acne—it was rosacea! Tired of depending on medication, I set out to find a better option. That’s when I discovered Cosmeceutical skincare, and let me tell you, it’s been a total game-changer.
